Waking through a kiss

By Adrian Williamson

Waking through a kiss

Of midnight bliss

No past did I miss

Into the turbulent touch

Of her rhizome’s clutch

Suchness as such

Tasting salt and sea

Sweat and plea

To be free

And hearing the hum

Of a childhood’s sum

Through a juicy plum

Biting and dripping with glee

Holding to the horizon I see

An ocean of Jasmin tea

For it hides in the senses

With no walls and no fences

Waiting for your love

To awaken
